I applied on LinkedIn and got a call to schedule my interview. The first round was with a manager. For 45 minutes of the 1-hour interview, he asked about the USP of my current product and discussed it, expecting some specific points. I had to ask if I was interviewing for a developer, DevOps, or sales role, as no technical questions were asked.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you explain the Unique Selling Proposition (USP) of your current product to my satisfaction?

Coding Technical Behavioral

I applied for this role straight out of college. First, I had to do an assignment, which was a basic coding question with specific test cases, and I had 2 days to submit it. This was like a pre-interview thing. After they approved my assignment, I moved on to the actual interviews. There were 3 rounds in total. The first interview was about data structures, algorithms, and some fundamental OS and DBMS concepts. They asked me to write pseudo codes for some Doubly Linked List scenarios and some Linux commands. The second interview was more coding-heavy. They started by asking me to solve a basic encryption algorithm problem and then asked for some modifications to it. I also had to write a decryption function for it. On top of that, I was asked to write some basic SQL queries using a sample database. The third interview was mainly about my projects, focusing on how scalable they are, their real-world applications, and what other technologies could have been used instead. It was a great experience overall, and I ended up getting an offer.

Confirmed questions8 questions
  • Could you write pseudo codes for specific cases in DLL?
  • Can you develop a solution for a basic encryption algorithm and its modifications?
  • Can you create a decryption function for the same encryption algorithm?
