It was a fast process, they seemed to need someone quickly. The recruiter was great and explained the stages clearly. There wasn't a technical assessment, just a personality/cognitive test like you see at non-tech companies. The interview with the director was a bit odd. I have experience in the exact tech stack they advertised, but during the interview, they asked about a different but related stack. It felt like they weren't sure what they actually needed, which suggests management might be disconnected. They really focused on my early career experience and made it sound like I quit and job-hopped a lot. The director had that old-school corporate vibe, matching some company reviews. Honestly, I'm glad I didn't get an offer because I had already decided to keep searching and would have quit and job-hopped for the first time if I had been offered the role, haha. If the director had been different, I might have seen myself staying long-term. The hiring manager and recruiter were good and knew their stuff, big props to them!

Applied via LinkedIn for a Senior Software Engineer role in Bengaluru. The interview process had 3 rounds: a UCAT round, 2 technical rounds focusing on backend concepts and a medium LeetCode problem, followed by a Manager round. Overall, the interview experience was okay, but the process felt a bit sketchy, making me question their hiring intentions.

My recruiter, Kristen Gresham, was great and I really enjoyed talking with her. Even though I wasn't qualified for the role I applied for, she gave me pointers on teams that might be a better fit and sent me that info. I chose not to apply to those teams, but Kristen was nice enough to keep me in mind for a junior role that might open up as the company grows. I ended up accepting an offer elsewhere before any junior roles became available at PlanSource, but I’m glad I went through the process with Kristen. It was a really good experience overall!
