Before the interviews, there was an info session. The interview was pretty chill, and the interviewer talked a lot. There were several rounds. The first round was basically the interviewer explaining the internship.

I had a quick phone chat first. Then a few days later, they set up a specific in-person interview time. I confirmed I'd be there and sent back a PDF application they emailed. After that, the HR person just went silent and didn't answer my calls or emails about interview details. They only got in touch when I was already at their office for the interview, saying they were now working with a staffing agency and the job wasn't available. This is despite it still being advertised on their site. They could have just told me they weren't proceeding, but they waited till the last minute. It was pretty embarrassing and makes the company look bad.
