I spontaneously applied for a junior auditor internship and the company responded very quickly, which was crucial for me because I was applying for a grant with an imminent deadline. We immediately had a call with HR: I was asked to talk about my education, experience, and why I wanted to work as an auditor, and I was also informed about the additional qualifications needed to grow in this environment (CPA or ACCA). On the very same day, I was informed of the positive outcome and we quickly proceeded with document preparation, thus managing to meet the deadlines for the grant.

So there was this audit and accounting test, and then some basic questions like asking why I'm interested in audit and what I know about it. Honestly, it felt more like a casual chat than a formal interview. The person interviewing me was super nice and actually shared a lot of helpful info.

Got the interview info from a friend who used to be an intern there. Sent my application both online and by dropping it off at their offices. Later, I was called in for an aptitude test at their Westlands, Nairobi office. After passing that, I had an interview with two senior people, a partner and a manager. This was the only and final interview, and I got the job offer two days later.
