The interview starts with some standard HR questions, mostly behavioral ones where you're prompted to use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result). After those initial HR questions, you'll move on to a session with a panel of three managers. They'll ask you questions directly related to the specific job you're applying for. You'll also get a chance to ask them questions. This part lasts about an hour. Following the manager session, they'll step out, and you'll meet with a group of two to six potential colleagues. This part is much more casual, and they'll ask you some questions, but it's also your opportunity to ask them almost anything you want about the company or the role.

It was a face-to-face interview with just two people. They asked pretty technical questions, but nothing too crazy. Mostly, they wanted to dive deep into my past experiences. I had to give specific details about architecture and implementation. They asked a few standard questions from various sites, but their main goal was to understand my thought process and my actual experience.

So basically PJM uses a behavioral-based interview approach. They think it's a good way to see how you'll act in the future. I had a quick call with HR first. They told me about the job and how the interviews would go. Then I had an onsite interview with three people. It was supposed to be four, but one person couldn't make it.
