I had a one-on-one interview at their Singapore headquarters. I wasn't shortlisted for the manager role but was instead offered a position to start immediately at Pizza Hut. I asked for a week to go back to KL to pack and move my things to Singapore. After settling in with my relatives, I started working there. I think I stayed with Pizza Hut for about 1 year and 10 months before returning to further my studies. I've also worked in interior furnishing and design, but I'm really keen on a career in food & beverage/hospitality because it's always busy, I get to interact with people a lot, and I stay occupied all day.

A manager will call you for an interview. You will then come to the store and speak with the general manager. They will ask about your availability and the specific position you applied for. It is important to have at least one weekend day available, as these are the busiest days for work. Stores can be open from 10 am until midnight or even 2-3 am.

The company is really disorganized and desperately needs new area managers. The interviewer, who might have been a kitchen helper, seemed uneducated and didn't know how to ask questions. She was also worried I'd take her job, even though I have 17 years of experience and am overqualified.
