First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pizza Hut.
Driver
The interview process was pretty easy and everyone I met, including the manager, was pleasant. The main issue for me was that the available hours were more than I could commit to right now. I'd definitely recommend showing up to apply and interview in person right away.
- Do you own a dependable car?
Delivery Driver
The hiring manager mainly chatted with me about my schedule, like if I could work nights and weekends, and if I had a dependable car. They also asked about past jobs where I helped customers and how I'd manage issues like giving out the wrong delivery or dealing with someone who's unhappy.
- What hours are you available to work?
- Are you able to work evenings and weekends?
- Do you have your own reliable transportation?

Most applications are submitted online these days as stores no longer keep paper applications. You'll need to complete an online questionnaire, and you should answer it as if you're a super dedicated Pizza Hut employee, even if it means stretching the truth, because a bad score means no hire. Always prioritize Pizza Hut's needs over your own. Don't repeatedly call about your application, as it's usually seen as bothersome and a sign of a potentially difficult employee. Even with an online-only process, it's best to visit the store in person after applying online and introduce yourself to a manager. Don't be overly persistent; this is essentially your first interview, even though you initiated it. If they like you, you're more likely to get a callback. During the store-initiated interview, the hiring manager will ask their own questions, as there's no standard set by Pizza Hut. Availability is always discussed. Be polite and respectful during this interview. If you are, you'll probably get the job, as they rarely interview without making an offer soon after. The best time to make this initial in-person contact is Wednesday or Thursday between 1:30 PM and 4 PM, as it's usually less busy and the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) is likely present and on duty.
- Regarding the initial questionnaire, in all cases, state that you will tell the manager on duty.
- For every answer that presents that option, select it as the answer.
