It was a really straightforward process. They asked a few basic questions covering my background, availability, and previous work history. We also talked about training details and salary. The interaction was quite casual, and I had the chance to ask my own questions at the end. Overall, it was a friendly conversation, pretty much what you'd expect for this kind of job.
- Could you tell me a bit about yourself and describe your personality?
- What is your availability?

I sent in my application online and after that I had to answer some questions based on a situation with 5 options to choose from. I had to rank these options from what I would do first to what I'm least likely to do. After I sent it off, the hiring manager called me the next day and invited me in for an interview 3 days later. When I got there, I had to wait a bit as the manager was with someone else but the staff were nice and offered me a drink. The manager came over, apologized for the wait and took me to another table for the interview. She discussed my CV with me, covering my education, previous jobs, and hobbies, to get a sense of who I am. Then she reviewed my scenario answers and asked a few more questions. After that, she explained the pay, asked about any holidays I had planned in the next 6 months, and how many hours I'd need with my other commitments. She thanked me and said I'd hear back the following Tuesday, which I did, and I was offered the job and accepted.
- Tell me about an accomplishment you're most proud of.
- Could you share an instance of when you worked effectively as part of a team?
- Describe a situation where you had to work in a demanding and fast-paced setting.

I had a phone chat, then an interview with the manager where I was asked typical interview questions. They gave me a sheet to talk to the employees to get answers about Pizza Hut's 5 rules. Then, I had to pitch a menu item to the manager. After a few days, they called me for a trial shift on a Saturday for two hours. I made pizzas and presented them, which they use to check how you handle stress. Later, I got a call offering me the job.
- Tell me about a time you went above and beyond for someone.
- What has been the most challenging thing for you?
- What would you do if you could do anything tomorrow?

The duty manager asked me about my valid licence and experience riding a delivery scooter. They also checked if I had the ability to follow basic instructions in the kitchen, and if I could handle money and take orders over the phone. The interview was held in a small staff room at the back of the kitchen.
- What experience do you have riding 50cc scooters?
