So there were a few rounds of interviews. It started with a phone screening, mostly to check basic info. After that, I got invited to the Pixar campus for interviews on-site. First, I talked again with the recruiter who did the initial phone screen. Then, I met with the hiring manager, who was pretty intense, serious but kind. Finally, I met with two associate producers for the movie I'd be working on. They were super friendly and personable, and I felt pretty good about how it went after leaving.

The interview process for this Production Assistant role moved really fast due to their urgent need. It started with a phone interview, and they let me know there would be a Skype interview followed by an in-person one. The Skype interview lasted an hour total. The first 30 minutes I spent meeting three people from Pixar, and the next 30 minutes I met three more. All of them would be working on the film I applied for and were super friendly. They asked questions about my resume, my work habits and how others see me, and my interest in Pixar. Even though I didn't get the job, they were quick with a follow-up email, so I heard back within a few days. The interview was tough mainly because it was over Skype, which made it hard to really connect.

You apply online and then have a 30-minute phone chat with HR. After that, there are 30-minute Skype interviews with groups of people. Everyone is really nice and seems genuinely invested in finding the right person. It does take a really long time though, so hang in there. They want to look at all the candidates before deciding.
