Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pinion.
Intern
I had an on-campus interview first, and then they called me for a second interview in Wichita. That second interview was a whole day thing with other people, and I had two interviews with two different people.
- Can you share an instance where you received constructive criticism and how you used it for your growth?
Intern
My interview process with Pinion went really smoothly. The first interview was welcoming and set a relaxed tone which was super helpful. They gave a clear sense of what was expected of me and the culture of their firm. Everyone I spoke with was supportive and transparent about the role. Special shout out to the campus recruiter Ulises Gonzalez, who was extremely helpful throughout this process! I would highly recommend speaking to him if interested!
- Can you tell me about a challenging technology you recently had to use and learn?
Intern
It was funny because the second interview was pretty much the same as the first one, but I had a good time with both interviewers. I was expecting to hear back late next week, but they called back on Monday, which was cool.
- How open are you to overnight travel?
- Tell me about a group project you've been a part of.
- What's the biggest success you've had up to this point?
