First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pilot Flying J.
Logistics Coordinator
The entire interview process wrapped up in under two weeks. It involved a single interview, which was pretty relaxed and felt more like a chat to get a sense of who I was. There weren't really any difficult questions. This was alongside an online test, which included personality and IQ components and took about 90 minutes to complete. The interview itself lasted around 45 minutes.
- Can you describe how you handle stressful situations and provide an example?
Logistics Coordinator
The process was pretty straightforward. It started with a phone interview, then an in-person interview, followed by a second interview that involved a job shadow for about an hour. Unfortunately, I didn't get the job. I later found out they don't pay much for this role, only around $16-17 per hour, and it was a night shift position.
- Are you okay with working nights or doing overtime?
Logistics Coordinator
It was a pretty simple process. I had a phone interview and an in person interview. They definitely want people that think on their feet. You will be required to take ownership in what you do.
