First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pilgrim's.
Maintenance Coordinator
They asked some basic questions about my past experience, how it would be a good fit for the job, and how I'd handle different scenarios that might come up during the day. It was a pretty straightforward process to see what I could do and what I'd done before.
- How would you prioritize tasks if you had many things to do at once during the day?
Sales Manager
The interview process was quite relaxed and straightforward, featuring a mix of competency and behavioral questions tied to the company's values. Candidates had the choice between a face-to-face interview or one conducted over Microsoft Teams. The interview was led by the hiring manager and another sales colleague.
- What is your motivation for advancing your career at Pilgrims?
Marketing
It was a standard 3 stage interview process. I came into the office once and was given a case study to present on the spot. The staff I met were friendly and asked a lot of questions. Email communication was a bit slow, but overall it was fine.
- Could you describe how you would organize this project?
Graduate Trainee
The interview process started with a 20-minute meeting with HR, followed by an In-Person Assessment Day. This day involved a solo interview lasting about 40 minutes, a group activity with 5 other candidates, and an in-tray group exercise with 10 other candidates. The day also included a presentation about the company, with current graduates available for questions. The environment was good and comfortable.
