Behavioral Case Presentation

The whole thing took a month. A recruiter reached out and we had a quick 5-minute chat to make sure I was a real person. Then, I talked to the hiring manager for about 30 minutes. They asked me four standard product management questions and gave me 1.5 minutes at the end to ask my own questions. During that call, I didn't really get a clear picture of what I'd be working on. After that, there was a case study that I could take my time on, with a limit of 1.5 hours for completion. It was a pretty basic case study, honestly, if you've been a PM before. I then presented this case study to the hiring manager and some potential teammates for about 15 minutes. They were nice and asked fairly straightforward questions. I used the extra time afterwards to ask more about the role, but some of their answers made me think they weren't totally clear on the role themselves. Later, I met with a few VPs of Product. They were pleasant but described the job scope very differently from the hiring manager and peers, which was a bit concerning. I also chatted with the Engineering Director, who also seemed to have a different understanding of the role. It felt like the company is growing and maybe dealing with some growing pains. Everyone was really nice, but the plan seemed a bit fuzzy. A lot of the people I spoke with were new to the company, having only been there a few months.

I had a case study and 6 interviews, and the process was really great. I've been interviewing a lot to find the right next step at a company that's aspiring and driven, and I can certainly say Phreesia's interview experience the best I had in my almost 10-year career. The recruiter was very organized and pleasant to work together with, and everyone I spoke with on the business side was knowledgeable, kind, and prepared to speak with me. I accepted the offer without any hesitation, and I am very excited to meet and work with these great people!

The interview process was great and really organized. I first had a good chat with the recruiter, then a nice talk with the hiring manager. After that, I did a group presentation and met with the head of group product, and then hung out with the rest of the team. HR handled the offer and negotiation at the end. Each step gave me a better feel for the job, the company, and the people. It felt relaxed, and they seemed genuinely interested in getting to know me. Big thanks to the recruiter for keeping me in the loop, answering my questions fast, and making the whole thing feel smooth and supported.
