Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Phillips Auctioneers.
Intern
The hiring process was brief and involved a panel interview, which felt more like a resume discussion than a tough interrogation. Prior to that, I had an initial HR screening. All the interviewers were very friendly. It took them about a month to respond after the interview.
- Can you share an experience of working in a team?
Intern
I had 2 interviews, one with a business admin coordinator and another with a research and specialist. They were very nice and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire interview process. The third step was writing an essay on a topic in 48 hours.
- How do you handle working under pressure?
Intern
I had a chat with an HR coordinator and then an interview with two research specialists. The HR coordinator was very nice but the specialists seemed a bit distant. Neither interview was very long. The first interview went well, but the second one felt just okay.
- Can you describe your research methods?
- How do you organize your work?
