Four employees questioned me extensively for about an hour. I had to draw upon all my training and experience to answer scenario-based questions. They used the STAR method for these questions.

I applied online and then had to take an online aptitude test. After that, I was selected for interviews and came in for a panel interview with three people where I was asked a series of STAR questions. It all went pretty smoothly and felt effective if you know how this stuff works. After the interview, I had to take another aptitude test to make sure I didn't cheat. A week later, I was called back for a final interview. It was the same setup, but this time the panel consisted of the top supervisors in the plant. It was a really good experience, and everyone seemed to be on the same page about what they were looking for in an Operator.

Got recruited through a headhunting firm. They scheduled a whole day for testing with only 2 days' notice. The testing was from 5:30 am to 4 pm. They initially gave me the wrong meeting time and I didn't get the correction in time. Three company reps greeted us: HR, a senior member, and a junior member. We started with timed tests in three parts: Math & reasoning, Mechanical aptitude, and the 'Psych(out)' test, which is where many people struggle. You need to watch the time closely; they only give a 5-minute warning before time is up, despite saying they'd give more. They send the Scantron test forms to be graded, which takes about a week. After that, there was a panel interview with the senior and junior members at a scheduled time. It wasn't too difficult; just be open and honest about your strengths and goals. The main downside is the personality test – they give no feedback on the results, so you don't know what it's based on or what to improve. I don't think I'd apply again because of the lack of transparency in the testing.

  • How did you perform on the personality test?
