First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Philips.
Senior Marketing Manager
I went through a few rounds of interviews at Philips, but honestly, my experience was pretty bad. The communication from the recruiting team was all over the place and not very professional. After the first contact, they told me to reply to an email address that didn't even exist. I ended up having to reach out on social media just to confirm my interview. After the first chat, I didn't hear anything for over a month, even though I followed up multiple times. Eventually, I got invited for a second interview with the hiring manager, who said I'd get feedback within a week. Again, silence, this time for more than a month. My messages to both the recruiter and the manager went unanswered. It took two whole months to get a rejection, and the feedback was vague and subjective. This whole experience left a really poor impression. I expected a much more respectful and transparent hiring process from a global company like Philips. Hopefully, they'll sort this out for future candidates.
- Tell me about a time you had to convince stakeholders about a project.
Customer Marketing Manager
My interview with Philips started with a chat with HR about my background and if I was into the job. Then I had my first interview with the managers, which was mostly about behavioural stuff to see if I'd fit in. The next interview was with the directors and it was more about practical examples to check my skills. Near the end, HR gave me some good info, and the managers also gave me feedback, so I got a good sense of where I stood.
- Can you tell me about a challenging project you worked on, including the obstacles you encountered and how you overcame them?

Marketing Manager
My interview experience with Philips was great. Everyone was professional, organized, and respected my time. Recruiters and the hiring team were clear about what they expected, communicative, and really wanted to know about my background and goals. What was cool was how planned out the interview process was. Each chat gave me a feel for the team’s culture, how they work together, and Philips’ dedication to bettering patient care with innovation. Everyone I talked to was nice, ready, and involved, which made it feel like a normal conversation, not stressful. Even though I didn't take the job, I left with a really good impression of Philips as a place to work. I'd be happy to look at roles there again and totally suggest it to others.
