First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Philips.
Marketing Intern
First, there was an online screening where I had to submit video answers to three questions. Then, I had an interview with my future manager. This final interview lasted about 30-45 minutes and was also conducted online.
- What motivates you to want to work at Philips?
- Describe your approach to handling challenges.
- In what ways can you make a contribution to the company?
Marketing Intern
So, for Philips, how hiring works is kinda different for every job, but usually it's like this: first, you apply online and they look at your resume. If they like it, you'll probably get a call or video chat with someone from HR or the hiring team to talk about your background and why you want the job. If that goes well, you might get invited for an interview at the office. This could mean talking to a bunch of people on the team, maybe doing a presentation or a small task related to the work, and sometimes they even show you around the place.
- Can you tell me about your biggest weakness?
Marketing Intern
The interview was set up by someone in Poland, and it was for a role I hadn't applied to. The woman in Poland didnt offer me any insights on the role before hand and her english wasnt good. Since I was still in Uni, I was looking for a part time role, and I made that very clear, it seems that was not passed on and when I mentioned it half way through they abruptly stopped the interview.
- Can you tell me a bit about yourself and your experience?
