Sales Associate
This was a first round interview on Zoom. I was only asked a few questions, and it was very fast paced. I wish I had been asked more questions to properly show my skills and qualities.
- As a new hire, you're the only one without a sale after a month on the phones. What's your approach to this situation?
Inside Sales Representative
The person who interviewed me was really nice and seemed to know a lot about the job. It was mostly about asking about my strengths and why I thought I'd be a good fit for the job.
- Tell me about a time you stepped outside your comfort zone and how you handled it.
Sales Associate
First, there was an application with a video, a motivational letter, and a CV. The second stage was an in-person interview with other potential employees where we did a team-building activity. We all sat at a big table and talked and introduced ourselves. It seemed like they were interested in understanding group dynamics and how we would work as competitors. At the same time, it was important to show respect for each other and collaborate, even though there was only one position available. The third stage was another in-person interview.
- How do you stay calm when things are moving fast?
Marketing
Applied late summer (Early August) for a Fall position. Had a phone interview 2 weeks later. Was offered the job one week after that. Overall, it was a simple and straightforward process. I actually wish I could have talked to more people working there and/or skyped into my interview. I would recommend calling to request an interview though given they were a little unorganized when it came to the scheduling.
- Tell me about your marketing experience.
- What would you propose to enhance the 76ers brand?
- Which marketing courses have you completed?
