I sent my resume to a former coworker at the firm, and they passed it along to management. About two weeks later, I got a call to schedule an interview. After the interview, I got an offer via email within two weeks, and then HR called to go over the details. I took the first offer because the pay was way better than my old job and the benefits were like a raise on their own.

They call you in for your interview. Different people interview, it's not just one person who does all the interviews. Once the interview is done they let you know they will call or e-mail you with further details and if hired return with a call and send a letter outlining the details.

They mostly hire through referrals, and I got referred by a manager I know. They first asked for my resume and then set up an interview with about five other people. A week later, two managers interviewed me privately. I think wearing a suit helped me get the job. They asked pretty standard questions. I felt it went well and they said they'd let me know. They were silent for almost two months, then finally got back to me with a job offer.
