Insights Manager
A recruiter contacted me about a month after I applied online. Because there was a large number of applicants, I had two screening calls over two weeks. The recruiter was really nice and responded quickly. After that, I had a one-on-one meeting with the Hiring Manager. Then, there was a panel interview with four team members, which was split across two days. Everyone I met was friendly and treated me with respect. They asked behavioral questions to see how I work and think, and there were no tricky questions. The whole process was super fast and didn't waste my time or effort. It was a nice change from the usual, as that kind of experience is hard to find these days.
- Can you tell me why you are interested in Pharmavite, and what motivated you to pursue this particular role at this stage of your career?
Manager
Applied online in September and went through 8 rounds with over 13 people over 3 months. Met with business leaders, team leads, future direct reports, C-suites, and peers. During onsite coordination, some people hinted at a hire. After the onsite, I was rejected in December. Everyone was informative and respectful, but the group meeting with future direct reports was unprofessional with cams off, cameras on foreheads, and someone dialing from their car with background noise. This made me feel the team wasn't in favor of a manager and might have voted against me. I was relieved to be rejected, as it wouldn't be a good start to fire half the team. For managers, the talent pool is great right now, so don't settle.
- What are your career aspirations?
- How do you describe your leadership approach?
- How would you get the team working together effectively?
Manager
I went through 6 separate interviews starting from the recruiter and all the way to the VP level. A couple of days after my final interview, the recruiter called me and informed me that they moved forward with another candidate. I accepted their explanation. However, the following day, they posted they same job on Linked-In. Beware of this company as they are not very straightforward.
- Can you share some of your key accomplishments?
