My interview went well: a friendly welcome, I presented my background, we discussed my skills, technical and behavioral questions, then we talked about the company and the role. The atmosphere was professional but relaxed.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process had two steps. First, an HR interview to assess knowledge about the company and my motivation to join. Second, a functional interview to evaluate my understanding of the company, its product range models, and my technical skills and background relevant to the role.

Behavioral Presentation

I had an interview at Peugeot with a current intern from my university who works in the media strategy department, and also with the manager of that department. The interview lasted 45 minutes. For the first 15 minutes, we went over my CV together. Then, for the next 15 minutes, the manager explained the specifics of the role. He detailed how Peugeot outsources its media strategy to advertising agencies in Argentina, Brazil, China, and Spain, and that the media strategy department's job is to negotiate the most cost-effective deals. In the final 15 minutes, the manager left me with the intern, and I had the opportunity to ask any questions I had. The interview went well, and they were impressed by my CV. However, they required at least conversational fluency in French, which I lack. I think this was a major reason I didn't get the position.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Could you go over the other half of your resume in French for me?
