Behavioral Other

We had a few virtual interviews. They said things to make us feel good, but it wasn't the reality. They mentioned bringing your dog to work, but that's not allowed for the first 90 days, and they can extend that. The shift is always 11 AM to 8 PM, with no flexibility. Working from home is also only if they decide you can, so it's not a guaranteed option.

I got a call really fast after sending my resume. They did a 15-minute phone interview, which was super friendly and casual. After it finished, they said they'd email me with info on the 'next step.' It all seemed really good, even with things like pay, distance, and a late start date that I'd have to adjust to. I was excited for the job and the company. The very next day, I got an email saying they weren't moving forward with me, claiming I wasn't qualified enough. I was totally blindsided. It didn't make sense because they already had my qualifications from my resume. I was really bummed, especially since they could have taken a few days to decide, given I was willing to wait a month for the start date! They decided to reject me right away, just as quickly as they contacted me. I'm reviewing this now because a few days after the start date (and 6 weeks after my interview), they're already reposting the job, which seems like they're still looking to fill it, and given the bad reviews from current customer service employees, it says a lot about the job and their decisions.

I met with the hiring manager and an HR rep. We talked about the company's values and what they expect, went over the job details and the training plan, and they answered my questions. Then, I did a practice mock phone call, listened in on a real call with someone currently doing the job, and took a typing test.
