The interview process was a long one, with four stages: the online application, a group interview, a trial shift, and then another interview. I made it to the group interview stage and really enjoyed it. We had to talk about a pet for a minute, then work in groups to build a tower to see who could make the highest freestanding one. After that, we got into groups again to create an advert for some of their products. The interview was fun and relaxed, and everyone seemed to be having a good time. There was a short interview at the end with a staff member, which I thought was great because the whole team got to decide together. That was it. A friend who was also interviewing told me she got an email declining her three days after the interview. I figured I should wait a bit before contacting them. It's been two and a half weeks now, and I only just heard back after I reached out to see what was going on. I got a generic email with no feedback or apology for the delay, which makes me question the store's administrative side.

The interview was super informal and nice! I was led into the staff room and asked about 20-25 questions. The interview style was really laid back and the manager made me feel comfortable. After this, he took me on a tour of the store and introduced me to everyone which was really nice and made me feel even more comfortable! I was also introduced to the resident cat Oliver who lives in the vet practice! Everyone was super lovely and made me feel really welcome. The overall thing lasted for just under an hour. A really relaxed, easy experience!
