I went through two rounds of interviews for this role. The recruiter was late for the first call, and I had to reach out to confirm if the interview was still happening. During that initial screen, we discussed the job description and learned that CSMs manage about 400 accounts. The main KPI is to have at least a quarterly touchpoint with all accounts. The pay is hourly, between $26 and $28, which is quite low. In the second interview with the hiring manager, we had a good discussion. I was really prepared, so much so that the manager complimented me, saying I was the most prepared candidate they'd ever interviewed and that I'd hear back the next day. However, I was surprisingly rejected without any feedback.

My interviewer seemed really disengaged and uninterested during the conversation. They didn't seem to be listening much and their responses were minimal. It felt like they hadn't prepared, as they kept asking the same questions over and over in slightly different ways.
