The interview process was good and the screeners were quick to respond. I was invited for an interview in under a week. The interview took about 30 minutes and included questions about my retail experience and any experience I have working with pets.

Applied online in January for a new store opening in the summer. Got an email in May for a job fair at a hotel for the new location. At the job fair, filled out another application and waited for a pre-interview. The pre-interview covered basics like comfort with animals and work availability (part-time/full-time). After that, waited for an interview with the new manager. The manager interviews seemed to take 20-30 minutes each, which was longer than expected. My interview with the manager was short, only 10 minutes. The manager seemed to have already decided against me, worrying about needing to train people without retail experience. During my interview, the manager spent half the time talking about opening a new store and what that means for employees. I was told I'd be contacted if I got the job, but I never heard back either way.

I applied online and then got a call to set up a group interview. When I got to the store, they told me it would be an individual interview instead since there were only two of us. I went first because I was the only one on time. They mainly asked about my availability and my future career goals.
