The interview was pretty straightforward. They mainly wanted to gauge my experience level and discuss the daily tasks involved. A significant part of the conversation focused on my familiarity with animals and my comfort level with handling them and carrying out animal-related duties. Overall, it was a positive experience.

I got to my interview early and an employee told me the manager was in the back and would be out soon. I ended up waiting forty minutes because the manager forgot about me. During the interview, he kept stopping to pet dogs that walked by the room (the office was also a mess). He said they'd call me after a week, but it's been a month and I just got an email saying they aren't hiring me. Oh well.

It may take them up to a month to review applications because they receive so many. If you have experience with animals or a previous job, they'll likely call you for an interview. The interview itself is only about 30 minutes, either over the phone or in person.
