First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Perspecta.
Systems Engineer
First, I had a recruiter screening interview. Then, a security person called to verify my eligibility for security clearance. About a week later, I interviewed with a senior engineer and a recently hired engineer. I received an offer the day after my interview.
- Can you tell me about the company and its activities?
- What would your responsibilities be if you were hired for this role?
- Could you tell me about yourself and the qualifications you've listed on your resume?
Systems Engineer
The interview was really relaxed. The person interviewing me wasn't a super experienced interviewer but tried her best. She was nice and professional, just seemed a bit unsure, which is understandable since she was probably new to it. No real issues though, and it wasn't HR. It seemed like someone who actually does the job was interviewing me.
- Are your job-related questions direct and specific?
- Did you seem interested in knowing if I understood and could do the job?
Systems Administrator
So, the interview process was kinda wild. It felt like a scene from a spy movie, you know, like good cop, bad cop at a black ops site. I arrived at this place that looked like an abandoned data center. The glass doors were locked, and I waited there for over 30 minutes with no one showing up. I was about to head back to my car when I got a call telling me they were ready and I should walk back to the entrance.
- Can you answer some basic computer questions?
