Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Persistent Systems.
QA Automation Engineer
The interview process is pretty straightforward. There were a couple of technical rounds, L1 and L2, and then an HR chat at the end. Make sure you're ready to talk about anything on your resume.
- Could you write some code for a given programming language and a scenario related to Selenium?
- Prepare to answer questions about your resume.
QA Automation Engineer
The interview process was straightforward and smooth, consisting of 3 technical rounds and 1 HR round. The interviewers were nice and created a comfortable atmosphere without any pressure.
- Solve Python coding problems suitable for a candidate with 5 years of experience.
Test Automation Engineer
The interview was a one-day event. It started with an online test, where questions were easily found on Google. After that, there was a technical interview, followed by a meeting with the manager, and finally an HR interview. The HR person's behavior was quite poor, treating candidates very badly. I passed all the interviews. A week later, they requested my documents, which I submitted. However, I never heard back from them. It's possible my salary expectations were too high for their budget. They should have at least replied to my email, informing me the position was closed or that they didn't have the budget.
- Can you explain your experience with testing frameworks?
- What are the core concepts of Object-Oriented Programming?
