Even though I kept telling the HR I am a Project Manager, they scheduled me for an Account Manager-Project Management interview, saying it's the same thing. Since some companies use different terms, I thought maybe it was. The interviewer came for an Account Manager role and asked me those kinds of questions. I told him I'm a PM. But he continued asking account manager questions and finally decided I'm a PM and don't have account manager skills. This mistake means I won't be considered for a relevant role for the next 6 months.

The recruiter urgently contacted me because they needed someone to start in 3 weeks. He gave me 4 qualifications but didn't describe the role, saying they'd explain later. They missed our scheduled interview time, so the recruiter asked to reschedule for later the same day. Late that night, the recruiter called to say I passed and asked for more information. I never heard from him again.

It was a really interesting interview, with open-ended questions designed to reveal my thought process and logical reasoning rather than focusing on what I didn't know. They asked database-related questions that involved solving real-life situations, not just explaining concepts. The queries were logically interesting and aimed at assessing how I'd build logic from basics.
