I had my interview with Persado back in September. The whole process had three stages, and a different engineer led each one. It wasn't heavy on algorithm or data structure questions. Instead, they asked quick questions to see if I was familiar with the programming language they use, rather than testing my problem-solving skills. I'd say the questions weren't too hard overall, though you're up against other candidates, so it's not a direct measure of how easy it is to get an offer. All the interviewers were really nice and easy to talk to, making it one of the better interview experiences I've had.

We started with a Skype interview where we chatted and you were asked one conceptual technical question. Then, there was a 2-hour on-site interview. This involved talking to 3 different people back-to-back. First, the Director of Engineering asked some generic coding problems. Next, a Senior Ruby engineer focused on Rails-specific topics and gave a couple of Ruby coding problems. Finally, a Senior JS engineer covered JS and front-end topics, including one Git question.

Behavioral Technical

It was a long process with many steps which I followed to the letter and reached to the final step. Then I was informed that they would now proceed with my candidacy because I was lacking the skills they knew that were missing from day one. This has left me with the feeling that it was a waste of time for me.
