Construction Manager
The interview process was great. Started with a Zoom call with HR just to confirm I was a real person and genuinely interested. Then, I had an interview with the VP of Construction. They were professional but really friendly and took time to chat and see if I'd be a good fit. The questions felt more like a conversation than a rigid interview. A tip for others: don't worry if you don't have direct construction experience – it's not a must-have. I didn't have any and still got an offer. What they're really after is customer service skills, a strong interest in construction, and someone who's a self-starter. Definitely ask questions!
- Can you name three qualities of a good leader?
- What do you consider to be your weaknesses?
Construction Manager
The process takes over 30 days. First, there's a phone interview, followed by an in-person meeting with a recruiter that lasts about an hour. Then, a 6-hour off-site interview which includes 4 hours of testing. After that, an interview with the Division head, and finally, a 30-minute interview with the Director.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Construction Manager
The interview started with a quick 5-minute in-person chat to see if I was presentable and could speak clearly. Then, there was a second interview with two people where they asked standard questions. My advice is to really know your resume and back up your answers with real-life examples from your experience.
- What steps would you take to verify a subcontractor's qualifications for a project?
