Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pernod Ricard.
Procurement Analyst
It was a two-round process. First was an HR chat, then I met with two managers. Everyone was really nice. They mostly asked about my past experience using Excel and KPIs, and what I knew about the company. The last part involved an in-person visit to the Paris office.
- Could you share your previous experience with BI tools and Excel, and describe a problem you've faced?
- What's your background with BI and Excel, and can you give an example of a problem you encountered?
- Tell me about your experience using Excel and BI, and a specific problem you ran into.
Supply Chain Planner
The interview process had two rounds. The first round was with HR and the hiring manager, and the second round was with a senior manager or director. The interviews were held in person at their office. The HR person was a bit abrasive, but the hiring manager and senior manager were nice.
- You've been at your current role for only 2 years, why are you looking to leave, especially since we reached out to you?
- Why are you planning to leave your current role after just two years, given that we approached you for this opportunity?
Procurement Intern
I got a call from a recruiter that lasted about 20 minutes. They asked general questions about my CV and experience. The interview was on Microsoft Teams. They mentioned that if the interview went well, I would get a call from the manager.
- Could you explain your interest in our company and this particular role?
- How does this opportunity fit with your overall interests?
