Product Manager
A recruiter hit me up on LinkedIn about a job. We chatted, then I had a second chat with the hiring manager the next week. After that, I never heard back.
- What motivated your application for this position?
Product Manager
The process was pretty standard: first, a phone call with HR to make sure I "ticked the boxes" for the role, with basic questions about my background and my reasons for wanting to join the group. This HR interview was followed by an in-person interview with the two managers at the company's offices.
- What is your favorite international brand?
- Which animal would you say you are?
Product Manager
The interview was pretty basic and interactive. They asked me to introduce myself and share some family details. After that, they dove into my resume projects, asking for a lot of detail about them. They also asked me about Lean manufacturing, 5S, and TQM. Based on my answers and project discussions, they asked why I was more drawn to product design and development, which I think I didn't answer very well. But overall, it was a really good experience, even though I didn't get the role.
- What makes you particularly interested in product design and development?
