Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pernod Ricard.
Brand Manager
First, there was a short phone call, and then they scheduled an online interview with a recruiter and 2 Brand Managers. During the interview, I did a short market share exercise and had 15 minutes to do it and then present it. Moving on to the next (and final) phase, it's a 30-minute in-person interview with the group brand manager to get to know the candidates a bit better.

Assistant Brand Manager
The hiring process is structured. First, there's a prep stage where the candidate gets to know the company. Then, the interview starts with general questions to assess skills and experience. Subsequent interviews often involve different teams to check cultural and professional fit. Finally, a confirmation interview might happen to discuss final details. This process ensures a full candidate assessment and mutual fit.

Brand Manager
My interview experience was quite unusual. First, I had a recruiter call, but it was rescheduled for the next day. On the rescheduled call, the recruiter didn't show up. After 30 minutes, I got an email saying her internet dropped. We rescheduled again, and the same thing happened – she didn't join, claiming Teams wasn't working. I gave her another chance and rescheduled a third time. I waited for 10 minutes, but she didn't join or answer. Then, 15 minutes later, I got an email asking if I was joining. Eventually, we did the interview. After that, I moved to the final stage with the SBM and Marketing Director. I was told I'd hear back the next day, but never did. My follow-up email to HR also went unanswered.
- How would you handle complex stakeholder relationships?
- Would you describe yourself as more creative or analytical?
- Is data essential for you to make decisions?
