Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Perk.
Consultant
The process had several stages, including interviews, a use case to solve, and also interviews with product owners and management. The interaction was always pleasant from both travel perk and the recruiters.
- Tell me about your future positioning and challenges.
- Describe your current situation.
- Can you provide examples of real cases you've worked on?
Travel Consultant
The interview process was quite long, involving 4 interviews, a competency test, and a reference check. Initially, I thought it was excessive for a customer service role, but as it progressed, I understood why. They genuinely prioritize a person's fit with the team and company culture. Everyone I interacted with was very friendly and kind, which really boosted my desire to get the job. I also appreciated being kept informed about my application status and what to expect next. It's a lengthy process, but it's clearly well-planned.
- Can you share an example of a time you delivered exceptional 7-Star-Service?
Travel Consultant
The interview process felt excessively long. It kicked off with an initial video call with HR, followed by an online assessment. Next, there was a video call with an Amadeus expert, then another with the Team Leader, and a subsequent video call with a different HR representative. The final step was a video call with the VP Sales. HR did a good job explaining each stage. However, because it was such a lengthy process, especially for what seemed like a standard Travel Consultant role, my interest waned a bit, and some parts felt repetitive. After two months and six stages, the feedback was that my answers lacked specific details. It was quite disappointing.
- What skills do you believe are crucial for an ideal Travel Consultant?
- How do you envision working in a startup setting?
- Are you adaptable to continuous changes in your job responsibilities and procedures?
