Technical Presentation Case

The interviewers were prepared and respectful, true professionals. As constructive feedback, a part of the assessment relies on deep technical knowledge of account management and the company’s products. At this early stage, candidates might not have sufficient knowledge for that part. I think communication skills and the ability to explain topics and perform role plays can be assessed without needing product knowledge. The rest of the process was very good.

After my resume was selected, I was invited to a video call to chat with someone from the TravelPerk HR team in Barcelona. During this interview, they first introduced the company and the job responsibilities. Then, I shared my experience, and it ended with questions from both sides to identify similarities and differences.

Behavioral Other

The interview process was extremely unprofessional. The HR screener was 10 minutes late and the hiring manager was 20 minutes late to a 40-minute call. They tried to make me believe I had gotten the details mixed up and then apologized by saying, “I hope this isn’t a problem for you”. The questions were generic and I got the feeling the decision had already been made before the call even started. I received vague feedback. Overall, it felt like the interviewers were inexperienced and didn't know how to do their jobs.
