The interview process was erratic, lengthy, and confusing. There were 3 stages for a role that seems to only require secondary school education. It felt like they didn't know what they wanted, which resulted in a very long interview process and gave me the wrong impression that I might get hired. The training period, which is a whole month, wasn't communicated from the start of the interview process, which is quite essential information.

The interview process was smooth, starting with an initial call with the recruiter, who was very nice, followed by an interview with the Hiring Manager. The entire process took about 2 weeks, tops. The interviews were oriented to your abilities to provide proper customer service using the STAR method.

This interview process wasn't ideal, though the interviews themselves were good. The recruiter who contacted me was fantastic throughout, but that's where the positives ended. The recruiter reached out the day after my application to set up an interview, which was scheduled for 10 days out. This first interview went well; they liked my experience and the role sounded exciting. Then, I had a second interview with the hiring manager, which also went really well and felt like a good connection. However, this interview was delayed because the initial meeting wasn't set up correctly for both of us; apparently, the hiring manager was in their usual Zoom room while I was in a separate, incorrect Zoom meeting. Despite these technical issues, I remained enthusiastic. About 10 days after that, I was told they'd gone in a different direction, even though they'd promised an update within 24 hours. Then, a month and a half later, the same recruiter contacted me again, asking if I was still looking and interested in the role, mentioning they didn't have much info yet but wanted to check my interest. I confirmed I was, and soon after, I got a call. I was informed I was the second choice and that the person they hired wasn't going to work out, with hints that the hired person was being let go. I was told the director was keen to speak with me. Five days passed, and I followed up to see where things stood. The recruiter said they'd been out but were back and would be meeting with the director that day, promising an update by the end of the day. I didn't hear back until I followed up myself a week later. That's when I found out the director who supposedly wanted to talk to me opted for an internal candidate. Based on what I was told, this role was for their new local office, and any internal candidates would have been from out of state. It felt like they strung me along and ultimately decided to spend more on an internal transfer and relocation for the role, rather than hiring me.

First there was a typing test, then an interview with the team leads. They asked questions like 'explain a time where…' looking for situations and how you resolved them. Just give examples. Even if you can't think of one, make up one that shows good character and morals.
