Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pepsi MidAmerica.
Sales
The interview process started off a little weird, but things got much better after I spoke with different people and found the right location. It can be a stressful experience with lots of unknowns, but this company's process was a bit odd initially. I wasn't sure what to expect or who I'd be talking to. As I went through the phone screenings and in-person meetings, it started making sense. I talked to several people, and each gave me good info about the company and the job. The interviewers were really understanding and helpful, answering all my questions and concerns, which made me feel more comfortable and let me focus on showing my skills.
- What starting salary are you looking for?
- Could you tell me about the benefits package?
- What is the policy on paid time off?
Sales Representative
The interview experience was professional but still relaxed. I didn't feel anxious because the interviewer was really understanding and knew just what to ask and how to ask it. In my view, you need a certain touch when interviewing candidates, and that was definitely there during my interview.
- Could you share what you know about the company?
Sales Representative
I had a multi-person interview that was quite intense with multiple candidates interviewing for the same positions. It included situational interviews, a time management interview, a regular interview, and a group interview. Definitely an interesting experience.
- What are your 5-year career goals?
