Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pepperdine University.
Office Clerk
The interview process was easy and straightforward. I had an in-person interview with the two office administrators. One of them had been with the company for a long time, and the other was relatively new. They went over the job description and what they were looking for in detail, and also discussed the work schedule.
- Are you someone who can get things done the first time you're asked to do it?
Administrative Assistant
I reached out via email the week prior, but didn't get a response, so I sent some follow-ups. The interview itself was a phone call, and it went well. It was a good learning experience.
- What are your key strengths for this role?
Executive Assistant
The interview was really well done and in a super comfortable vibe. I met with the executive I'd be supporting. It was really professional and nice. He mentioned he'd need some time to decide, so not to worry if I didn't hear back immediately. It's been about a month and I still haven't heard anything about the outcome. It's a bit of a bummer because they really should let people know if they're not moving forward.
- Can you tell us about yourself?
- What did you enjoy most about your previous Executive Assistant roles?
