Customer Service Representative
So, I went through a couple of interviews for a manager opening, and then one for a CSR role. All of them were behavioral interviews. The second manager interview was a panel interview. The people were really nice, though!
- Be ready for behavioral questions.
- Be ready for a panel interview.
- Be ready for an observational interview where you'll watch the operations and then share your opinions.
Customer Service Representative
First, you'll meet with the branch manager and probably one or more CSR's in the office. The company provides a list of acceptable questions and gives each manager some flexibility in the questions, but they have to ask the same questions to each candidate to avoid any chance of bias or discrimination. It's all the cliche questions like Describe a time you faced adversity? and How often have you been late to work in the past two years? If you pass that interview you'll have a meeting with the district manager, and if you pass the DM then you're in.
- Tell me about a time you had to face adversity, either at work or school.
- Can you describe your ability to multi-task and work in a stressful environment? Please provide examples.
Customer Service Representative
I applied online and got an email the next day to set up a phone interview. I set it up for the next week on Tuesday, and they called right on time. The interview was short, under 30 minutes, and pretty straightforward, like they were just gathering info. They said I'd hear back in about a week, but they called the next day to schedule an in-person interview. That's when things went south... the manager was really unprofessional, used curse words the whole time, and pried into my personal life. None of the questions were even about the job. I'd avoid this company. You have to be on call and sometimes use your own car to drive people around. Shifts start at 5am and 10am, meaning you're either opening or closing up shop in sketchy areas.
- Do you have a boyfriend?
