Executive Assistant
I applied through Indeed. The company sent an online aptitude test (basic math and word choice). It took them over 7 days to respond. The interview process had two parts. First, an initial interview where I retook the aptitude test, and then interviews with 2-3 executives. The follow-up interview involved 2-3 executives plus the CEO, and I had to present two Powerpoint presentations about my previous job and how I would talk about PeopleAdmin. For my initial interview, I arrived 10 minutes early as instructed, but no one greeted me in the lobby. The lobby phone is supposed to connect you, but no one answered after 5 minutes. I emailed the recruiter to let them know I was waiting. I had to retake the aptitude test, 15 minutes for 50 questions, and was told to answer all of them to 'set me up for success.' Then, due to technical issues, I had to retake the test *again*. The first executive interview was fine, a normal chat about my experience and my questions about the job and work-life balance. The second executive interview started 30 minutes late. It felt rushed, and the executive hadn't read my resume and didn't seem prepared with questions. At the end, I couldn't find the recruiter and was escorted out by someone I didn't know. I was really disappointed by the disorganization throughout the whole hiring process. It's funny because PeopleAdmin is an HR software company; I wondered if they use their own software. I was also very disappointed with the executives' attitudes. I researched the company and their backgrounds, but they hadn't looked into my qualifications. My time is valuable, and I expect the same respect they'd want in an employee. It felt disrespectful when I asked about hesitations, and they mentioned not having EA experience, even though I have a degree and 10+ years of program management experience, which I believe would cover calendar and travel needs. I asked them about their management style, work-life balance, what an assistant means to them, and if they had concerns about my qualifications. I sent thank-you emails, but I wouldn't accept an offer from PeopleAdmin. I agree with other reviews that PeopleAdmin needs to work on regaining employee confidence.

Financial Analyst
The interview was mostly about my resume, and not much about the job itself. The interviewer seemed unprepared and mentioned she was talking to many others that day. She questioned my frequent moves, which I had to explain were due to my education and starting work in different cities. She also mispronounced my current employer's name. At one point, she paused to look at my resume again and then asked another resume-based question. She interrupted me multiple times and even had me wait again to pull up the job description, highlighting her lack of preparation. She also struggled with pronouncing a software used internally and asked if I knew how. The overall call was unprofessional and gave a poor impression of the company, reinforcing a former employee's comment about being treated like a number. My two calls were unpleasant, uninformative, and concerning, making me unwilling to accept an offer even if one was given.
- Can you explain your frequent career moves?
- What is your current company's business?
- What led you to your current position?
Software Engineer
First I had to fill out a personality test, then complete a few programming problems, pretty simple (both online). I was then contacted to be interviewed on-site, where I first had in-person interview. After one white board question, I was directed o a video conference room where I talked to a programmer who was located elsewhere. He mostly asked questions about my knowledge and past experience. A few weeks after my on-site interview, I received an e-mail that they weren't interested.
- Can you explain the MVC process?
- Could you solve this white board question?
Summer Intern
Since I applied late in the intern hiring season, they were keen to fill a position promptly. The interview experience was quite laid-back, yet comprehensive. Various managers, primarily from the relevant team, took turns meeting with me. They discussed the role and inquired about my qualifications. The interactions were highly conversational and unstructured. While everyone was cordial, they were certainly probing. The in-person interviews concluded within two hours.
- Can you explain the distinctions between management and leadership?
