First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pentair.
Manufacturing Engineer
It was a two part interview back to back. The first was with the plant manager looking to learn more about your social skills. The second was with the manufacturing engineering manager to talk about slightly technical topics.
- Tell me about one thing you learned from prior experience in a manufacturing setting.
Manufacturing Engineer
The first interview was a chill phone call where we talked about my resume. It felt pretty low-pressure. They said I should expect to hear back in about a week. I was also expected to show that I knew about the company and what they actually do. Honestly, don't stress too much about this initial conversation!
- Can you walk me through your previous job experiences?
Manufacturing Engineer
It's pretty straightforward, but there are a bunch of interviews you gotta go through. The whole thing can take a while, like weeks or even months. You'll probably get asked about how you work with others, sort out problems, show leadership, and talk about your past projects.
- How do you approach teamwork and collaboration?
- Can you share an example of a conflict you resolved?
- What are your strengths as a leader?
