Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Peninsula.
Sales Consultant
It was a two stage interview process. The first stage was on Teams, and the second stage was in the office. The second stage was interesting because I was sat with a sales agent, which gave me a good insight of how the role works and how the team gel.
- What qualities do you think make someone a great salesperson?
Sales Consultant
There are two interviews. The first one is a Teams call (about 30 minutes) with a recruiter. The second interview is in person (mine was over an hour) with the sales team lead, who would be your direct manager or the trainer.
- What do you anticipate being the biggest challenge in this role?
Sales Consultant
The interview was virtual. You'll meet with management-level people who will ask typical questions. They're looking for motivated, self-starting "hunters." Even without specific skills, passion can get you in. They want mature talent. Hard work and dedication lead to great compensation.
- Can you tell me about your experience with rejection?
- What are your key strengths that you would bring to this role?
- What's a personal weakness you are currently trying to improve?
