There seems to be a disconnect between the recruiters and the management team. The recruiter didn't provide a list of job responsibilities. The subsequent interview with someone knowledgeable about the role was challenging. It's unusual to ask candidates new to the industry about their perceptions of the job's duties or success factors, especially when the role description itself is vague. This approach could be interpreted as an attempt to trick applicants. My advice for those considering applying is to thoroughly research the company beforehand. However, I'm not sure the salary justifies their integration-style interview process.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The whole thing was a mess. First off, every single person I talked to was late, and some didn't even bother to apologize. One interview got cancelled last minute, like an hour before it was supposed to happen. The recruiters and the Pendo folks just didn't seem to care about my time. When they had to reschedule, they were super pushy about setting up a new time that worked for them, with no thought for my current job. Then, it was a total bait and switch. They said it was for a senior role, but after weeks of interviews, I found out the offer was for a job that was five years below what they originally said. The whole company seems directionless, and the interview process was really unclear. I should have bailed way earlier.
