Customer Service Representative
You meet one on one with 3 or 4 people and they ask you the general job hiring questions. Then they show you what your job would be like. Then they bring you in a room of other applicants to write short essay on what you know about the company.
- Can you tell us about yourself?
Customer Service Representative
It was a very casual but efficient hiring process. I saw the position in the local paper's classifieds and applied in person. After filling out the application, I got a call back within two days. They asked me some qualifying questions and then invited me for a one-on-one interview with the Controller. Later that same day, I was called back for a panel interview with the Controller and the General Manager. They asked standard questions like about difficult situations I'd faced and how I handled them, the pros and cons of my last job, and my biggest accomplishment at my previous employer. They made me a satisfactory offer and I was hired on the spot.
- Can you tell me about your biggest accomplishment at your previous job and how you achieved it?
- What aspects of your prior manager did you find least appealing?
Customer Service Representative
They gave me a Word and Excel skills test. I talked with two supervisors and a manager who seemed really smart. The manager mostly just stared, which made me think the supervisors were more knowledgeable, and it turned out that was right. The office itself was a bit dirty and had old furniture from the 70s.
- How did you find out about this opportunity?
- What information do you have on our company?
- Could you describe your previous job?
