I applied online and a Peet’s recruiter called me the same day to schedule a phone interview. It was about 20 minutes. After I passed that, the recruiter asked for my availability for an in-person interview with a district manager, scheduled for a week later. This interview was 30 minutes long and took place in a Peet’s coffee shop with customers around. It was a comfortable experience. The district manager told me I’d interview with another district manager and, before that, I should visit a Peet’s and list improvements, then share my findings with the next interviewer. I had my third interview 4 days later at a different Peet’s, also in-store with customers and comfortable. This one lasted about 45 minutes and covered more in-depth sales and job duties. I was told I’d hear back within 3 days, and I did – the next day – with an offer!

I initially applied for the position at a job fair. The company was very keen on hiring me, but I had to go through several interviews. The regional manager interviewed me about two weeks after my initial application. Then, about a month after that, I had a final interview with HR. I was able to start the job about a month after the HR interview. It was quite a lengthy procedure.

First I talked to a recruiter on the phone for about 30 minutes and they told me right away if I would move on to a district manager in person interview. The final interview was through zoom. I never got to the last step, just received an email later in the week with a generic response.
