It was a simple interview process. I interviewed in person with the office manager, the Lead Nurse Practitioner, and then the Medical Director. The questions focused on my previous experience and my motivation for joining the company.

The interview went well, it was virtual. I got referred to this position and had the interview a bit over a week after applying. They said they would let me know in a few days. I followed up twice, about a week apart, but got no response. After nearly 4 weeks, I received a generic email saying they chose another candidate.

I applied online and got a phone call about a week later. This phone call asked me basic questions about my availability and if I had experience with newborns. After this initial screening, I was invited to come in for a face-to-face interview at a hospital. The interview included a series of questions and ended with an assurance that I would hear back from HR by the end of the next week. I ended up having to wait another 2-3 weeks before I decided to call and follow up on my application status.

Confirmed questions5 questions
  • What is your knowledge regarding hearing screenings for newborns?
  • Describe a situation where you had to perform a task that conflicted with your personal beliefs.
  • Can you share an experience where you demonstrated leadership?
