Operations Manager
I interviewed with PDS Dental and while I wasn't chosen, the experience was disappointing due to how the process was handled afterward. Initially, things went well. The team was nice, I did an in-office shadow, met leaders, and felt there was real interest. I was told I'd be recommended, which made the lack of follow-up really frustrating. After putting in a lot of time and effort, the rejection was handled unprofessionally. No phone call, no real closure, just abrupt and impersonal communication, which is surprising for a role needing strong people skills. Candidates should get timely, direct communication, especially after going through several steps. This experience showed a lack of respect for applicants' time and poor recruiting etiquette. I hope they improve their hiring communication.

Operations Manager
I had a virtual interview first, and then they invited me to the office. There, I met the team and had one-on-one interviews with each member. They offered me the job right after.

- What are your aspirations for the future?
- What do you like to do in your free time?
Operations Manager
So, the interview process was actually pretty good, the team was nice and the chats were interesting, I felt like the role was a good fit. Then I got a verbal offer and wanted to talk salary since it was within the range they posted. But right after that, they just cut me off with a short email. No real discussion, no follow up at all. It felt super sudden and like they just saw it as a transaction, which was odd after how well everything else went. Just a heads up, if you try to negotiate, even nicely, they might just see it as a no-go. I really hope they change their mind on how they handle that last part.
