Had a phone call and then went in person. It was easy and the interviewers were nice. They made me feel comfortable and I was ready to answer background questions and projects I have done in the past.

The interview process started with an initial phone screen by a PDS recruiter, which went well. The next interview was with the hiring manager, after my PDS recruiter gave me a walking tour of the facility. The facility has an open plan, which I am used to. I emailed both the hiring manager and the PDS recruiter after the in-person interview to thank them for their time. The hiring manager told me that the next step for those who get called back is an interview with the marketing VP. Unfortunately, I did not hear back from either the PDS recruiter or the hiring manager. I sent one last email to the hiring manager, whom I genuinely enjoyed meeting. The lack of communication was appalling, and I'll consider it a positive that I didn't move further, as it indicates this is not a company that values employee or applicant time.

Behavioral Other

The first interview with the recruiter was great and I was super excited for the next step. However, I found out it was a completely different job than advertised. The "regional partner" had forgotten about our appointment which was scheduled 2 weeks prior and showed up 45 minutes late. He wasn't looking for a marketing person at all and didn't care about anything I had to say. He quickly ushered me out so he could interview others who had been waiting to meet him for 45 minutes.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • No questions were asked since the interviewer was unprepared and just going through the motions.
