Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at PCNA.
National Account Manager
The interview process was straightforward, well-organized, and super transparent. I started by meeting the hiring manager, who laid out clearly what was expected, the challenges involved, and the objectives for the National Account Manager position. Every discussion centered on real-life situations, enhancing customer experiences, and my methods for building relationships with national accounts. They kept me updated consistently, provided clear timelines, and everyone I talked to was professional, friendly, and genuinely interested in finding the right person. All in all, it was one of the most structured and pleasant interview experiences I've had in the promotional products field.
- Could you start by telling me a bit about yourself?
National Account Manager
The first call seemed okay, and then in the second round, which I think was one of 5 to 6 interviews, we didn't really talk about much related to the job. I'm not sure if the person knew what the job needed. They said to wait for an invite in a few days, but that was weeks ago, and it feels like I was ignored. I don't think they took me seriously, even though I have 15 years of experience in a very similar role at PCNA. I really expected better, and it'll make me think twice about this company in the future.
- Can you identify the top three critical aspects of company culture?
Account Manager
I interviewed with PCNA for an Account Manager position and it was a really positive experience overall. The Spoke team was very welcoming, and the entire process felt organized and smooth from beginning to end. I especially want to acknowledge Sarah, the recruiter I worked with. She was very communicative and direct throughout the whole process, making everything feel very easy. Even when we had to change the interview time and location at the last minute, it was handled quickly and professionally. Although I ultimately accepted another job offer, I wanted to share my review because of how great the experience was. I'd definitely recommend the PCNA team to anyone considering a role there.
- Tell me about your sales strategy.
- How do you build relationships with clients?
